Black Girl In Hollywood
winking
I have a very odd relationship with winking. I find it to be disarming. As someone who very rarely does it, and then, only on carefully selected occasions, when it happens to me, I want to think, “this stranger (guy at the post office)/professor (James Vreeland)/former president (W) has just given me a creepy indication that we share some kind of familiarity.” However, I usually wind up thinking that the person winking at me and myself are both more attractive than we probably are. I find this self realization awkward.
